Day at Home, No MS3 yarn, fat breakfast, muffins

Looks like I don't really need to write anything but the title. Can't let redundancy fears stop me now though.

I am a Southerner. No way around it. I also have Country Southern food problems. Meaning - biscuits, butter, eggs, gravy, Karo syrup and did I mention 'butter?' Ok, that leaves out things like fried okra, fried chicken, cornbread, corn on the cob with - did I mention 'butter?' ....yum

However, I have (mostly) turned my back on (most) of those kinds of things (mostly) (sometimes). I am not a slim wispy person. - Pregnant Pause - waiting for whoops and laughter. And we love vegetables, brown rice, sprouted bread, nuts, fruit and all those wonderful healthful things. But once in a while, give me a fat break. So:

This morning I made biscuits, bacon and scrambled eggs. As I was scraping the bacon bits off the bottom of the cast iron skillet (is there any other kind..) there was perfect gravy makings. So I did.

So, many hours later, I asked DH if he had any particular appetite for dinner. He reminded me we had some a bit too ripe bananas. Said he was assuming I would make some banana blueberry muffins. (like banana bread, only if you don't have three bananas you wind up adding blueberries instead and discover something you like much better - and if you don't want to rummage way back in the cabinet 'cause there may always be a spider monster there, you use muffin cups)

Have been working on my sweater sleeves. Hoping for stole yarn in tomorrow's mail.
Also need to finish the a little over half done rug on my Milton Bradley 1961 era toy loom. Using up some Lion Homespun.

I love your description of how/why you make banana blueberry muffins :-)

Okay, this blogging stuff: First off, you might be happier using a separate photo-storage site rather than Blogger's photo upload (Blogger's is moody). I use photobucket, though there others out there like flickr and the sort.

Doing this will mean that you'll need to learn how to embed the pictures in your posts, but that also means that you get to master a NEW bit of knowledge!!!

The second thing: Are you planning to join the MS#3 webring? That'll get you to learn about sidebars and list options and buttons - it's not as daunting as I think I just made it sound!

Oh, I love biscuits and gravy! I grew up, mainly, in Texas and love that kind of food.
Love the mention of the spider monster! LOL
All that...and you weave, too.
